The Benelux is an important territory within the EMEA region.

About the position
Due to growth potential in the region, Milestone is now looking for a

Channel Business Manager for Belgium & Luxembourg 
who plays a key role in the further development of this territory.

Your main responsibility will be to deliver on the business objectives in your territory. Using your expertise and knowledge in channel management you will be growing and expanding the business with your channel partners (2-tier) and it will be your responsibility to prioritise your accounts and the attention given such that the business potential of the portfolio is maximised.

Main tasks include:
• Building, driving and deepening the relations with both Systems Integrators and Distributors
• Building, driving and acting upon business plans with managed partners
• Engaging and working with local Consultants
• Engaging and working with large end users
• Participating at events, seminars and exhibitions
• Be liaison for the territory to the rest of the organization and vice versa

Your territory is Belgium & Luxembourg, however the office is based in the Netherlands and you will work under a Dutch employment contract. You will be reporting to the Country Manager Benelux. The job requires travelling in the territory and sometimes abroad to other Milestone offices.

Who are you?
You are driven by sales and results and feel passionate about overachieving targets. From experience, you know what it takes to manage and grow large accounts. You can act on both a strategic and an operational level. You have knowledge of and experience the Video Surveillance & Security industry in the Benelux. You are fluent in Dutch, French and English.

As a person you have a can-do mentality and a problem-solving attitude. You are ambitious and flexible and like to go the extra mile. You are decisive yet always pleasant and have an open and honest personality. You are proactive and are great in building and maintaining relationship with your customers and prospects on all levels. You are positive and self-motivated and at the same time a true team player.

At a minimum you have:

• Considerable knowledge of IP/IT
• More than 5 years of experience in the security, video surveillance and IP market
• 5-10 years commercial experience in channel / key account management with a proven success record
• Strong IT skills specifically with MS Office
• Working and acting on a University degree level

Knowledge of Salesforce is an advantage.
