Business Continuity Specialist
For a major banking institute in the Netherlands, we currently have an open position for a Business Continuity Specialist.
Security & Risk, Business Services, protects the bank’s business and their customers. They pro-actively identify and take action to reduce significant fraud and security risks affecting their customers and staff, providing a safe and secure environment in which to operate.
In Security & Risk (S&R) several expert areas cooperate to provide integrated security services to our client’s business partners. These areas include Information Security, Business Continuity, Fraud Prevention, Physical Security, Coordination & Intelligence and Investigations.
The S&R International team services the businesses in EMEA and Asia through three main hubs in Amsterdam, Singapore and Hong Kong, and through several Regional Security Officers in the European and Asian footprint.
As a Business Continuity Specialist, you will provide leadership and direction on all aspects of Business Continuity and workplace recovery, ensuring the consistent regional implementation of the Group’s Business Continuity related policies and standards.
You will be accountable for developing and delivering strategies for all Workplace Recovery (WR) within the region and supporting specialised services to meet the objectives of the businesses across the RBS Group. You will be working in an International team of circa 11 people, located in multiple locations in EMEA and Asia of which 3 people (including you) will be placed in the Netherlands.
• Business continuity, workplace recovery and incident framework experience in a financial services environment
• Project management experience
• Working with a broad range of business units across RBS or other Global organisations.
• Strong links to the external disaster recovery / workplace recovery / business continuity market
• Knowledge of risk management practices
• Business continuity management strategies
• Detailed understanding of current best practice in business continuity industry.
